Archeological excavations seem to confirm that there was some kind of fortress here in the years around 1330-1360.

Two tree-clad hills with an expanse of open ground between them, surrounded by the remains of a moat. Traces of a defensive wall are still visible in front of the fortress.

How to get there: From Hässleholm take Road 117 to Vittsjö. Drive past the church at Vittsjö and then take the second turning on the left (the road is called Snapphanevägen). At the end of this road is a path leading up to the site of the fortress.
