One of the very few early fortresses in Skåne. The Swedish botanist and traveller Carl von Linné visited Hälleberga on his scientific journey through Skåne in 1749.

This place of refuge measures 330x200 metres. To the north there is a 140 metre terrace wall with an opening of 1.5 metres. There are also similar walls on the south side.

How to get there: From Hässleholm follow Road 23 to Stoby. In Stoby turn off towards Broby on Road 119. Turn off at Färlöv and Hälleberga Backe is on the right-hand side of the road, just before you get to Gumlösa Church.
